Dr. K.S. Nagesh has outstanding experience of 50+ years. He obtained his Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) in Oral Medicine and Radiology, and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from Bangalore University in 1975 and 1969 respectively. He received Venson's Gold Medal for Securing overall highest in BDS.

Recently, Dr. Nagesh has been conferred with the prestigious award “Doctor of Science” Honoris Causa by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka at Annual Convocation at Bangalore in 2019 for exceptional contribution in the field of Medical Education and Public health and research. Dr. Nagesh has also been conferred with Highest Civilian Award of Karnataka i.e. Karnataka Rajyosthsava Award in Medicine in 2005 and as Fellow Indian Society for Dental Research in 2004.

Dr. Nagesh, worked as Chairman of Ethics Committee for Human Subjects in National Institute for Mental Health and Neurosciences, India. Dr. Nagesh also held other coveted positions viz. President of ACOMFR and Regional Director of ICDMFR. He is an internationally acclaimed professional in the field of Oral and Community health. He has been an International campaigner on Health and Human Rights from last 2 decades. He served as Director of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Public Health and Center for Disease Control, RGUHS, Karnataka; Professor & HOD for Dept. of Oral Medicine & Radiology and Principal for R.V. Dental College, Bangalore. Dr. Nagesh was honoured as Indian Ambassador for ORPHEUS.

As the Principal for R.V. Dental College, Bangalore, Dr. Nagesh initiated financial and logistical support program through ‘Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi’ trust to reach out to people in the social and rural periphery. The purpose of the program was to promote oral health and hygiene among the children belonging to rural and underprivileged population. Program successfully covered rural and urban areas of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and even Himachal Pradesh. In around 908 camps, treated about 2,88,278 patients at ZERO cost to the patients.

Dr Nagesh Lakshminarayan is a product of Government Dental College, Bangalore. He completed BDS in 1986 and MDS (Preventive and Social Dentistry) in 1992. He is right now affiliated to Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences, Bangalore as Professor and Head, Department of Public Health Dentistry. He has 98 national and international publications to his credit. He has been a key note speaker in many national and international conferences.

He has been invited as guest speaker in various educative programs, conferences and workshops since 2001. He has conducted around 165 workshops, CDE and CME programs on Research Methodology, Biostatistics, Scientific Writing, Journal Clubs, Bioethics, Medical Education Technology and on allied topics in various Medical and Dental Colleges across our country.

He completed Post graduate Diploma in Health Professions Education, offered by KLE University in collaboration with University of Illinois, Chicago in 2014. He has been an invited expert committee member of World Health organization (SEARO region) on two occasions where he delivered his presentations on integration of oral health under NCD agenda and assisted in developing a manual for ASHA workers.

He served as ‘Research Consultant’ in 2008 for GSK (Glaxo Smith Kline), a Pharmaceutical company for a field project in India.

He was awarded Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana Award, by National Economic Council in 2008.

He was awarded Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Life Time Achievement National Award in 2020 by International Institute for Social and Economic Reforms, Bangalore.

He is a keen learner and a sought after speaker in Research Methodology, Biostatistics, Bioethics, and Journal Clubs, Critical appraisal of scientific articles, Evidence Based Dentistry, Health Professions Education, Practice Management and Spiritual science topics.

He has authored a manual on “What, Why and How of Journal Clubs --- Critical evaluation of a scientific article”. The manual is popular among the faculty, PG students in dental and medical colleges as it is used as a hand book to hone critical evaluation skills.

He is an ardent member and also a national speaker of Theosophical Society of India. He travels extensively giving spiritual lectures and discourses all over India. His lectures are a fine blend of Science and Spirituality. He strongly believes in “Life Long Learning”.

With teaching experience of 21 years (PG guide for past 18 years) and 31 National & International Publications, he is a Reviewer for several journals including NTRUHS J, RGUHS J, SRMU J, IJCPD J.

Previously, Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences, Bangalore. (2000-2003).

Dr.Roopa Nadig is an excellent teacher, ardent academician, competent clinician, an able administrator . She started her career as an academician in the year 1990 at GDC, Bangalore and took voluntary retirement as Professor in the year 2000. She served as principal at BIDS before joining Dayananda Sagar Institution as Director-postgraduate studies, professor & HOD in 2003 and retired from active academics in june-2021 as Dean.

During her 30 year long career as an academician, she has trained several graduates and post graduate students, molded their character, career and guiding them.
She also carries a 28 long years of clinical experience in private practice and as a consultant in corporate hospitals.

She has actively involved herself in various academic activities not only in college but also of the University and Dental council of India. She has contributed university at various capacities being the member of – Academic Council, Chairman- Board of studies, PhD Committee, Research grant committee and finally had the honor of having occupied the coveted position as Dean of faculty at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences - Karnataka. She was also the chairman for Curriculum reform committee for Dental council of India.

She is a popular personality amongst the Dental fraternity and has occupied various prestigious positions in specialty organizations including President of Indian Association of Conservative dentistry and Endodontics ,Vice President of Indian endodontic society, and is currently the founder President of Academy of conservative dentistry and endodontics Karnataka. She is one of the most sought-after-speakers in the specialty of Conservative dentistry and endodontics, who has delivered more than 60 guest lectures so far at various National forums.

She has published over 75 scientific papers in various reputed journals, contributed chapters in many text
She was Editor in Chief of RGUHS Dental Journal and also in the editorial board of many journals.
Her organizational skills and leadership qualities are exemplary and has organized and conducted many conferences and a number of CDE programmes.
Recognizing her contribution, She is awarded the ‘ National Academic excellence’ award by Indian association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics .

Prof.Dr.C.S.Ramachandra, an Orthodontist by profession is based in Bangalore, India. Got his graduate education in dental surgery from Bapuji Dental College Davangere (1984) and started the professional and academic carrier in the year 1988 after qualifying as Master of Dental Surgery in ORTHODONTICS from Government Dental College Bangalore. He was in teaching profession for the last 30 years (1988–2018) and trained large number of dental graduates and guided more than 50 post graduate students in Orthodontics. Presently involved in full time private practice and conducting continuing orthodontic education programs on “Damon System” which is a Self Ligation Bracket system developed by Dr. Dwight Damon. He is also recognized as Key Opinion Leader by ORMCO for “Damon System”.

Clinical Experience: As a clinician he has treated large number of patients with varying types of malocclusion and dento-facial deformities. For the last six years he is using only Damon system by choice and has a collection of more than 500 cases treated by Damon system. He has been lecturing on the advantages and benefits of practicing this system for better patient care in various forums both national and international.

He also has few publications to his credit.
He has written the following books/atlas –
1. ‘Damon System an Indian Experience’.(2017) In this book he has shared in great detail management of 12 cases of varying type of malocclusions, using Damon System.
2. ‘Damon System PROTOCOL.(2018). In this information which would help the beginner in Damon system.

Prof. T.V. Padmanabhan, is a well renowned and celebrated Prosthodontist with a teaching experience of more than 30 years.

He completed his Under graduation and Post graduation from the Madras Dental college , Madras University in the year 1984 and 1988 respectively.

He has travelled extensively with in India and abroad to teach and learn Prosthodontics, and has been endowed with various awards, recognition, guest lectures and orations.

He had served as the President of Indian Prosthodontic Society, President of Asian Academy of Prosthodontics and also as an executive council member of Asian academy of Osseointegration. Currently he is the Chairman of the Indian Board of Prosthodontics.

He is a Diplomate of the ICOI. Course writer for PG certification Programme Oral Implantology by IGNOU. He has over 80 national and international pub med indexed articles published, contributed chapters is various books and has Co-Authoured a popular TEXT BOOK OF PROSTHODONTICS published by Elsevier

He is a keen clinical researcher working on improvement of Quality of life and treatment outcome assessment .
