Looking Back
In early 2000, Dr. Girish Rao, a top Faciomaxillary Surgeon, and Dr. Ananda Krishna G N, a young Prosthodontist, established their own Implantology practice in Bangalore, India.
After successfully recovering hundreds of patients with dental implants, they established an intensive Fellowship program in Dental Implantology Courses consisting of four modules lasting six months, providing hands-on clinical training in surgical and prosthetic aspects of implantology.
In 2010, they established an Implant Study Group (ISG), which has since supported over 1000 dental professionals from India and overseas in sharing important experiential knowledge for continuous professional growth.
Living in the Present
In a one-of-a-kind collaboration, both partners teamed up with the Global Healthcare Academy to launch Global Dental Academy, the best dental academy in India inspired by the vision of creating a world-class institution of excellence that serves the broader goal of the dental profession by providing Training and Dental Education to enhance career development and promote the entrepreneurial spirit in dental practitioners.
Looking ahead
Looking forward, GDA will strive to be the best dental academy in Bangalore that provides clinical and scientific knowledge to dentists through online and hybrid instruction, to make dental education affordable, effective, and successful around the world.
